Max had his first school first trip! They went to the Grouse mountain. They must have had a great time. Max was all smiles when we went to pick him up at the end of the day. He saw Santa's workshop.... First trip on a school bus. First time without Mommy or Daddy... Time flies. We love you Maxi!
We'll not be able to attend the BG School Christmas party next week this year : (( but we had a chance to meet some of the kids and make "survachki" : )) It was fun!
Today was Max's Christmas Concert at Queen Alexandra F.A.M.I.L.Y. School (QA). The kids were so excited. All kindergarten kids are in the Primary Choir and sang "Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer", "We Wish You a Merry Christmas", and "Jingle Bells". They also danced on "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow". Mrs. Gelson, Ms. Gelson's mother, had knit them wonderful hats. The kids loved the hats and now they do not take them off their heads. They are really pretty and soft and warm and different colours. A special one for every kid! So nice! Such a great memory! The kids were so excited about the event and sang and danced with the biggest smiles I have seen ; ) It was great. Thank you QA!
Mr. Kumar, Max's music teacher from school, came to tonight's concert!!!!
Max and we are going to be always grateful for his gesture. Max had volunteered an invitation to him earlier... Mr. Kumar coming to the concert was so generous and so much appreciated! We know how busy the teachers are with school and how much they already do for the children! Mr. Kumar had a long commute, sprained ankle from teaching soccer at the school the day before, and a concert at the school the next day where he was leading most of the program with the kids and he still came! Thank you very very much!! It meant a lot to Max!! |
