Time to catch up : )
Today was a super awesome day. Mom, Dad, and I took the bus to Kitselano and we ended up at the Pacific Spirit Community Center. We met Lou and Teni and a bunch of other babies. I laughed some and everybody loved me. The topic was massaging and there was a lot for Mom to learn as she does not do massage. I massage her nose and I did not learn that from her : ) On the way back a bunch of old ladies wanted to know all about me. I played cool but soften up at the end and gave them some of my smiles. I keep the best smiles for Mom and Dad, of course. I also slept a whole bunch and I feel great now. Nobody will believe that I wake up every hour at night trying to burp. Mom and I are still going on at life strong though.
Yesterday we went to the local baby group and it was open questions session. Sheryl, our nurse, did an excellent job facilitating the meeting as usual. The questions were interesting and there were some good laughs. By now, many of us are friends. I exercised my new squeal and at first nobody knew what was happening, then everybody was amazed at me : )) They were laughing with me. Many Moms said that their partners are confused about how to be parents - a repeating theme with a lot of frustration on both sides. I am lucky Mom and Dad do not have the same problem; being too busy having other problems ; ) Just kidding. My Dad downloaded all Harry Potter movies and watched them to prepare for the time when I may want to watch them. I am looking forward to it : )
What happened before that I forget. Mom is convinced that it is because I did not sleep enough. But there is so much to see and do and burp... Oh, I saw the sunset on Monday. It turned out to be a beautiful spring-like night and Mom took me out for a stroll. I was the perfect baby again - slept half way, observed the other, chatted with a lady with a dog... Life goes on. Cheers.
The forecast was for rain and it was pretty dark and wet this morning. Perfect for sleeping in. I just did not know that. I was up early and about and excited all day. It is fun to play with Mom and Dad. They make me do things... We walk and dance and... at least they do, I giggle ; ) Do you know that the nose makes a "beep" noise : ) How funny : ) Then the sun showed up and we went out again. By 6 I was wiped out, had a nap, and then I was ready for bath time. Man, I like bath time. Now I sleep. Good night and don't let the bedbugs bite.
The highlight of the day was my new happy cry. Baba had made some awesome compilations and I really enjoy their songs. After each I "sing" myself. Everybody is very pleased ; ) I have to rely less and less on crying and get to experiment with a lot of new sounds. Did we take any pictures today?
Sweet Closeness - Leo parent & Libra child
A born people-pleaser, your Libra child wants nothing more than to make you happy -- which isn't difficult, because you adore him down to his little toes. In turn, he admires your bright personality, your generosity, and your courage. You're both naturally attuned to beauty and love being in crowds of fun-loving people, so be sure to take your little one out as much as possible to visit art galleries, museums, botanical gardens, and more.
Parties and playdates are also fun for you both, but keep an eye on your little Libra if he's playing with a rough or aggressive child. Your little one doesn't do well with conflict. Of course, if you see him tangling with a bully, your protective nature kicks in immediately! An affectionate and sentimental parent, you give your little Libra just the kind of sweet closeness he needs.

How to Teach Your Baby to Swim: From Birth to Age Six
My buddy Emilia from the baby group is already swimming and she is only 3 1/2 months old. Her mom said that they followed the program in this book and now Mom is hooked to get me naked and in the water herself ASAP : ) We went to buy a bathtub plug today and I expect there will be some bathtub cleaning when I wake up. Should I worry? Nah : ) I am in good hands, right : )
Plus, it is following doctor's instructions to avoid the public public pools for now. And who would not like to swim at home? Who has the luxury: it pays sometimes
Bosco Stomp, Aldus Roger
My Mom had a tiny accordion when she was little and her grandfather had a big one. I don't think they ever played them. And this is probably a good thing in my Mom's case... Yet, she still thinks it is "romantic" (did I say that?!) to know how to play one. Will see... There's djembe group next door - I may join them first ; ) This is if Daddy does not beat me to it and get me a keyboard. Busy, busy, busy : )
Dad and I spent the morning together. Then we went out for coffee and saw Mike with his bike. I always give him smiles. He has a good face. Imagine: I was happier to see Mom, too. I was pretty hungry at this point. I was a good boy and patiently waiting until we got home. I was worried we were going to be late for the baby group meeting while Lou was going to be there. We made it. I said hello to Lou and his mom. She is so nice. I like her a lot. And I said hello to May. She took a picture of me. And another of me and Mom. But to be honest I was a little out of it with burps and all. I fell asleep while Mom was walking me home. The evening was ok. I wish I figure out the burping. If I did I would be sleeping through the night and some. Good nigh
I was very busy today. I busied myself with eating my fingers and toes. That's right - these toes of mine are mine to eat, I just discovered. I am still trying to throw my foot away the way I do it with my other toys... will have to see who is more stuborn - me or my foot. It will be much easier to play with them when I can sit by myself anytime I want. I am still working on my balance. Other than that Mom and Dad had a good lunch from the Bandidas and Dad cooked super deliecious honey mustard chicken tighs. I myself was very hungry today. Now I am tired.
ps. Forgot to tell you: The world of the day is jaba (жаба = frog in Bulgarian). It makes me giggle so much. I have a picture of a green frog with long legs and pink dots in my room. Cool jaba!
