Bubble Bottle
You know how hypnotic it is to watch a lava lamp? Well here's a toy that will have the same impact with your baby, and you can make it yourself for pennies. It's sure to become a favourite, both in the bath and around the house. Skills developed: dexterity, familiarity with colours What you'll need: a clear plastic bottle (or several) with a tightly fitting screw-on lid; food colouring; dish soap Fill a large, clear plastic bottle, such as a fizzy drink or water bottle, one-third full of water. Add a few drops of liquid soap and a few drops of food colouring. Close the bottle tightly and give it to your baby; show him how to shake it up and make eye-catching coloured bubbles. Make several bubble bottles using different shades of food colouring and use them to introduce your baby to the various colours. Show him how to roll the bottles across the floor. http://www.babycenter.ca/a1011569/lets-play-6-month-old-third-week#ixzz2R4RNKBK3
We went to the Cruisers' group today and guess who was there... Ava has grown so much - still beautiful eyes and a charming smile.
